An introduction to Kevin Knight

Your career to date?
I am married to Lynda with an 11 year old daughter Ellie . My interests are sports, reading and spending time with my family.

My career started in Financial Services in 1983 as a district agent with Prudential (man from the Pru), progressing to a Financial Adviser role. I left Prudential after 18 years service due to redundancy.

I worked as a mortgage adviser (independent) from 2001 to 2003 and from 2003 to present date have worked as an independent financial adviser covering all aspects of financial planning, specialising mainly in the investment market.

I pride myself on providing my clients with quality advice and providing a high level of service.

If you could offer one piece of financial advice to an individual, what would it be and why?
Review your investments on a regular basis to ensure they are in the right place are tax efficient and match your attitude towards risk.

Which areas of financial planning do you feel an individual should be addressing in the next 2 years?
Review investments/savings due to high inflation and volatile markets.

What is the most common mistake you find individuals make in financial planning?
Lack of regular reviews on their investments.
